The CBSE curriculum at Marigold International School has been crafted in such a way as to meet the varying needs of growing children. Our well structured and cohesive syllabus has been designed to spark intellect and curiosity which helps them in the manifestation of later learning in their chosen domain. It is interspersed with scholastic and co-scholastic activities to help the children discover themselves and learn through exploration and discovery.

Keeping in mind the current practices in education, the school has conscientiously moved towards a more student – directed learning. There is a great emphasis on providing a hands on experience to students through field trips, live experiments , cross – curricular blended learning , research work and presentation. There is a paradigm shift in the process of learning wherein the focus is on acquisition of creative and critical thinking skills within a holistic environment.
The Pre-Primary Wing at MIS is a happy, safe and engaging learning space designed to provide an enriching environment for young learners. The curriculum is based on contemporary research and principles of early childhood development. It is developmentally appropriate, integrated, play – led and ensures stimulating experiences across different domains to address the needs of the whole child. Hence our little MIS students happily indulge in experimenting new ideas, mistake-making, laughter-sharing, brain-stretching and independence building.
They ask questions, we see creative explorers; they play outdoor games, we see motivated learners; they express, we notice inquisitiveness. Holistic development is aimed for, through our child friendly, creative and activity based curriculum.
Our Pre- Primary MIS students explore new horizons, build new capacities and visibly grow.
Through the carefully crafted pedagogy, we force our students to ask questions, getting actively involved during the classroom discussions. This habit of asking questions paves the way to transform a child into an inquirer, critical thinker, and curious individual. Inquiry allows the students to maximize his level of understanding in a manner he wants, and at the amazing rate that is very personal and unique to that student. Our pedagogy is focused on thematic and project-based learning with engaging text, the overall personality development holistically, and practical learning. Through the structured and concise syllabus, we strive to ignite the spark of learning relentlessly in every growing child.
Our qualified teachers adopt a variety of assessment tools and techniques to garner a sense of detailed understanding of each student. These assessments are carried out before, during, and at the end of the unit of study, and many intervals throughout the academic year. This assessment data supports our teacher to design customized learning to our students, meeting the needs of the individuals. Our teachers share the frank feedback of student’s learning behaviour through shared understanding.
